Some members of the city council in Charlotte, North Carolina are suggesting they should turn down the 2020 Republican National Convention if the party chooses that city later this month.
If that happens, Las Vegas would be the only city left with a public bid to host the GOP in 2020.
The council members expressed a variety of concerns, from potential danger from protesters to the divisive nature of the Trump administration.
