NSHE Leader Says Nevada Colleges Will Stay Committed To Diversity Amid Federal Affirmative Action Rollbacks

As the Trump administration reverses an Obama-era policy that encourages affirmative action for college admissions, Nevada System of Higher Education chancellor Thom Reilly says Nevada will remain committed to diversity.

Nevada also maintains an open-access approach, and as long as a student meets academic qualifications, they’ll likely be admitted.

Reilly says they’ll remain committed to diversity at all levels.
