Raiders Spent $172 Million So Far On Stadium

Amid the Golden Knights frenzy, dirt and concrete are being poured for Las Vegas’ next major sports franchise invasion.

The Raiders recently reported the team has spent more than $172 million so far on its commitment to build the stadium.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reportsabout 450 construction workers have been on the site to build the 65,000-seat indoor football stadium.

At its peak constructions next year, there will be a projected 1,500 workers on site.

The stadium is scheduled to be completed in two years in time for the 2020 NFL and UNLV football seasons. The total build will cost roughly $1.8 billion.
