New Poll Shows Close Race For Nevada Senate Seat

Early polls show a close race for Nevada’s Senate seat currently held by Republican Dean Heller.

A poll commissioned by the Nevada Independent show Heller in a dead heat with Democratic challenger Jacky Rosen. Rosen is currently a congresswoman representing Nevada’s 3 rd congressional district.

The poll found that 39.7 percent of voters favor Heller, compared to 39.3 percent who favor Rosen with 21 percent undecided.

Heller is largely considered one of the most vulnerable Republican senators in the upcoming election and has been a key target for Democrats.

The poll sampled 600 likely voters in Nevada between April 12 and April 19.
