Fourteen names have been added to the list of candidates for the Clark County School District’s superintendent search.
Before last week’s decision from the board to allow current or former CCSD employees to apply, there were only four.
The search is to replace current superintendent Pat Skorkowsky, who will retire at the end of the year.

Trustees said they were not completely satisfied with the results produced by an outside search firm, and felt some qualified candidates from within CCSD were overlooked.
Candidate interviews are scheduled for April 27, on May 2 the trustees are expected to vote.
