San Gennaro Festival License Pulled After Police Investigation

The bi-annual San Gennaro Feast has had its license pulled and its event planned for May has been canceled after a Las Vegas Metro Police undercover investigation revealed a vendor at the festival sold alcohol to minors.

This will mark the first time in nearly four decades that the event featuring thrill rides and Italian food has been canceled.

Festival organizers say they’re implementing changes and plan to have the event back on track by September.

Sink your teeth into our annual collection of dining — and drinking — stories, including a tally of Sin City's Tiki bars, why good bread is having a moment, and how one award-winning chef is serving up Caribbean history lessons through steak.
