County Commission Considering New Regulations For Marijuana Dispensaries

The Clark County Commission is weighing a plan to modify regulations on new recreational marijuana dispensaries.

The Nevada Independent reports  Susan Brager is proposing to mandate all new dispensaries also serve medical marijuana patients alongside recreational customers.

It's not the first time this has been floated – commissioners talked about a similar plan back in December.

However, because Nevada is not currently accepting applications for new medical marijuana dispensaries, critics argue such a move would put a halt to new dispensaries opening in southern Nevada.

No word yet on when this proposal may be discussed before the Commission.
