North Las Vegas has joined Clark County and the City of Reno in pursuing lawsuits against pharmaceutical companies that produce and distribute opioids.
North Las Vegas city council unanimously approved a contract with Las Vegas law firm Eglet Prince this week.
The City of Henderson has Eglet on retainer for a similar suit, and next week, the Lyon County Commission will cast ballots on whether to contract with the firm.
