Clark County School Board trustee Kevin Child announced his intention to keep his seat in the November election.
Child has been the subject of some controversy ever since Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky banned him from visiting schools in the district over concerns about his behavior.
Child responded to the ban by saying it was Skorkowsky’s attempt to punish him for asking tough questions about the district’s finances.
A district investigation claimed that Child created a hostile work environment.
