Judge Hints At Possible Mistrial In Bundy Case

A federal judge in Las Vegas hinted at the possibility of a mistrial Monday in the ongoing trial for Cliven Bundy and several associates relating to an armed standoff near Bunkerville in 2014.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports U.S. District Court Judge Gloria Navarro read through a list of documents that she said amounted to details that could benefit Bundy, two of his sons and another defendant that were not presented to the defendants in a timely fashion.

The judge did not make a decision Monday, but dismissed jurors and said they would not be called back to court until at least Wednesday.

After releasing the jury, Navarro held a closed-door meeting with the defendants, their lawyers, and government prosecutors.
