A letter from local voters says canvassers have been misrepresenting recall efforts against three state lawmakers and harassing voters to gain signatures.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the letter went to committee leaders in charge of the attempts to recall Democratic State Senators Joyce Woodhouse and Nicole Canizzarro and Independent Patricia Farley.
The letter says canvassers have refused to leave when asked, made claims against Canizzarro without evidence and presented the recall petition as an “anti-recall” petition supporting the senators.
