Metro Chamber Of Commerce Heading To Washington, D.C.
Las Vegas business and community leaders are headed to Washington, D.C. next week.
The Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce is taking a trip to the Capitol September 25 through 29.
The Las Vegas Sun reports more than 100 people are registered to go on the annual trip – it’s the largest group ever.
The chamber’s agenda includes championing the development of Interstate 11 and meeting with Illinois Republican Representative John Shimkus about the proposed nuclear waste repository at Yucca Mountain.
