Clark County Vying For New Amazon Headquarters

Clark County officials are vying for Southern Nevada to be one of the top contenders for Amazon to name its new headquarters location.

The tech giant announced last week it is looking to make a $5 billion investment in construction and produce as many as 50,000 new full-time jobs.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Clark County Commission Chairman Steve Sisolak is proposing to up the ante by forming a coalition with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and others to persuade the Seattle-based retailer to land here.
