Ethics Complaint Filed Against Henderson Mayor, Councilwoman

Henderson Mayor Debra March and Councilwoman Gerri Schroder are facing an ethics complaint that states the two failed to comply with transparency rules.

The complaint comes just three months after March took office, and alleges the two failed to disclose their relationships with the Henderson Community Foundation during City Council votes related to the foundation.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the complaint was filed anonymously with the Nevada Commission on Ethics.

Campaign finance records show that Schroder’s campaign donated more than $7,500 to the foundation, while March’s campaign donated $1,650.
