Local Governments To Get $20M In Federal Grants

Local governments in Clark County are shoring up more than $20 million in federal grant money awards.

U.S. Representative Dina Titus announced the award this week. The money will go to Clark County and surrounding cities.

Titus said the funds will help the most vulnerable residents of Clark County. The award is for affordable housing and homeless prevention as well as the Community Development Block Grant program.

$8.7 million of CDBG funding in Clark County will go toward park improvement projects and a senior center expansion.
