House Republicans Unhappy With Senate Over Health Care Bill

Many House Republicans are not pleased with their Senate colleagues for not voting to repeal and replace Obamacare this week.

Voting in support of the health care bill in the House, they said, could potentially make them vulnerable in the 2018 election.

One of the most vocal about this was Nevada Representative Mark Amodei. In an interview with Talking Points Memo, Amodei said the health care bill still needs fixing, “whether we walked the plank or whatever.”

Amodei was an early critic of the House GOP bill before voting for it in its final version. But Amodei’s district is relatively safe, considering President Donald Trump won over that part of northern Nevada.
