Clark County Ranked Third For Population Growth

Clark County has been ranked 3rd in the nation for population growth, according to annual population estimates released this week by the U.S. Census Bureau.

Between July 1, 2015 and July 1 2016, Clark County welcomed more than 46,000 new residents – or, about an average of 127 new people per day.

The only two counties in the country with a greater population gain for the same time period were Maricopa County, Ariz. and Harris County, Texas.

As of July 1, Clark County was home to just under 2.16 million people, a 2.2 percent increase over the previous 12-month period.
