Eric Hilton died in his Las Vegas home at the age of 83. He helped found the Three Square Food Bank.

The Hilton family is known the world over for its hotels and resorts, and it has a long history of development in Las Vegas. Longtime Las Vegans will surely remember the name Barron Hilton, and readers of the gossip pages will be familiar with Paris Hilton.

Hilton died recently at age 83, but is known as the fellow who helped found the Three Square Food Bank, which collects and distributes millions of pounds of food to needy people throughout Southern Nevada.
