Automotive Journalist: Sources Call Faraday Future 'Catastrophe'

faradayfuture.com

Faraday Future started with big promises to build a multi-billion dollar car factory in North Las Vegas.

The factory would make cars that would transform the world of transportation.

But the company garnered suspicion right away from Nevada State Treasurer Dan Schwartz.

And we've reported before that construction on the Apex site has stopped because contractors weren't getting paid.

The car and transportation website, Jalopnik, has come out with a scathing and in-depth report.

It calls Faraday a catastrophe, details millions in lost revenue, and alleges that even the company's top executives - many of whom have quit - didn't know what was going on.

With us today is the writer of that Jalopnik piece, Raphael Orlove.
