Sandoval, Heller Uncertain Of Support For Trump

Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval told the Las Vegas Sun Tuesday he doesn't know if he's going to vote for Donald Trump.

In a brief interview, the Republican governor said "I don't know what I'm going to do" when it comes to the election.

Sandoval caucused for Florida Sen. Marco Rubio in February and endorsed Ohio Gov. John Kasich once Rubio left the race.

In previous statements, Sandoval had referred to Trump not by name, but only as "the nominee" of his party.

He had said he would do no campaigning or fundraising for Trump.

Meanwhile, Republican Sen. Dean Heller said in a press availability Tuesday he hasn't backed Trump yet because of things he has said in the past.

Julia Ritchey from NPR member station KUNR reports Heller plans to see what Trump says during the presidential debates, and hopes to be able to support his party's nominee eventually.
