Chelini Unseats Judge Hafen; Two Incumbents Win Seats

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports three Las Vegas Justice Court candidates, including two incumbents, won seats in yesterday’s primary election, and a race for a District Court seat looks like it’s going to the general election in November.

Amy Chelini won 62.4 percent of the vote to unseat Conrad Hafen for the Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Department 14 post.

Las Vegas Justice Court incumbents Joe Bonaventure and Melissa Saragosa each received nearly 60 percent of the vote in Departments 9 and 4, respectively.
