Las Vegas judge Conrad Hafen is under fire after having a deputy public defender handcuffed in court and sending her client to jail for six months.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports a group of lawyers filed a complaint with the Nevada Commission on Judicial Discipline, saying Hafen showed “a complete disregard for the law.”
The group Nevada Attorneys for Criminal Justice wants sanctions against the judge.
The complaint also cited two other cases in which his actions were called into question.
