CCSD To Close 3 Behavioral Schools

To cut about $2.5 million in costs, the Clark County School District will shut down three Las Vegas behavioral schools.

The Las Vegas Sun reports trustees voted unanimously last night to close Biltmore, Southwest and Morris behavioral schools.  Enrollment at the schools has been in decline for about five years.

Saved funds will go to other schools in the district, including the four behavioral schools officials are keeping open.
