Memorial Service For Nevada Sen. Smith Sunday, Sparks High

SPARKS, Nev. (AP) — A memorial service has been scheduled this weekend for longtime Nevada legislator Debbie Smith.

The Democratic state senator died on Sunday at the age of 60. Doctors started treating her for a malignant brain tumor about a year ago.

The service is scheduled for noon Sunday at Sparks High School.
