Nevada Gas Prices Remain Among The Highest In US

Nevada remains at the top of the gas prices list in the U.S.

Gas prices dropped more than 14 cents in Nevada in the past two weeks, according to Gas prices dropped more than 14 cents in Nevada in the past two weeks, according to  GasBuddy.com.

Despite the declines, the average price per gallon in Nevada is $2.34.  Only California has more expensive average gas prices at $2.77 per gallon.

The national average is $1.90 per gallon, according to GasBuddy.com. Oklahoma ($1.56) has the lowest price for a gallon of gas, while in Arizona it's $1.91 and Utah its $2.

As of Jan. 26, the lowest gas price found in Las Vegas was $2.05 at five stations throughout Clark County.
