Terri Clark Announces Candidacy For NSHE Board Of Regents Seat

A candidate has announced she's running to fill a soon to be vacated seat on the Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents.

The Elko Daily Free Press reports Terri Clark will run for the seat representing District 8 next fall.

That seat will be vacated by Kevin Melcher, who will be retiring from that office when his term expires.

Clark, who lives in Spring Creek, currently works as a training partner with the Simmons Group, a human resources and organizational development firm.

She cited previous experience in developing educational strategies.

Casey Morell is the coordinating producer of Nevada Public Radio's flagship broadcast State of Nevada and one of the station's midday newscast announcers. (He's also been interviewed by Jimmy Fallon, whatever that's worth.)
