Officials in Pahrump are warning residents about ..coyotes.
The Pahrump Valley Times reports that coyotes are in the area and may pose a threat both to people and to pets.
The newspaper reports one incident last week where a man walking his dog was confronted and attacked by three coyotes. The man in question is expected to recover fully.
Town officials say if one encounters a coyote to call Nye County Animal Control, and to not feed the animals.
