Elko County Commission Chairman Demar Dahl is recovering from injuries suffered when he was thrown from his horse.
The Elko Daily Free Press reports the county commission postponed a sales tax hearing that was scheduled Tuesday due to the ranching accident.
County officials say Dahl spent the night in the hospital but is recuperating at home. They say he's expected to return to work soon, but they don't know when.
