There are now more cases of people in Nevada sickened by the salmonella outbreak linked to tainted cucumbers.

The Southern Nevada Health District in Las Vegas said Wednesday that two more cases have been identified, bringing the total to nine. Six were in Clark County.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has counted 418 people in 31 states who were infected by the strains of salmonella found in cucumbers grown in Mexico and distributed by Andrew & Williamson Fresh Produce of San Diego.
