GOP Candidate Senator Ted Cruz To Hold Meet-And-Greet In Reno

RENO, Nev. (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is adding a Reno stop on his visit to Nevada later this month.

The Texas senator is scheduled to attend a public meet-and-greet the evening of Aug. 15 at the ArrowCreek country club in Reno. The event will be held after Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt's Inaugural Basque Fry political event in Gardnerville.

Cruz will be visiting Las Vegas the day before. He's scheduled to speak the evening of Aug. 14 at a public event organized by conservative group Americans for Prosperity. The discussion will be held at Red Rock casino.

Cruz came to Las Vegas in April to speak at the Republican Jewish Coalition's annual conference.
