City of North Las Vegas Considered For Electric Car Factory

The city of North Las Vegas is in the running for an electric car factory.

The Las Vegas Sun reports that the city is one of four finalists being considered by Faraday Future, a new automotive company looking to take on industry giant Tesla.

A North Las Vegas official confirmed that representatives from Faraday Future have made multiple visits to sites at the 7,000-acre Apex Industrial Park. Also being considered are sites in Georgia, Louisiana, and California.

The company plans to have an electric car available by 2017.
