Las Vegas Mogul Kirk Kerkorian Dies In Los Angeles At 93

Billionaire financier Kirk Kerkorian has died. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the 98-year-old Kerkorian died last night in Los Angeles after a brief illness.  He was the largest shareholder in MGM Resorts International, which he founded in the early 1990s. He also built and opened the International in 1969 and the the original MGM Grand in 1973.  They’re now known as the Westgate Las Vegas and Bally’s Las Vegas, respectively.
