Dan Josefson’s debut novel “That’s Not a Feeling” tells the story of Benjamin, a teenage shipped off to a boarding school for troubled youths after two failed suicide attempts.
The boarding school, which only allows its students to express seven different emotions, pokes fun at larger society
Library Journal and Booklist gave Josefson's novel starred reviews, and the late author David Foster Wallace said "That's Not a Feeling" was a “funny, mordant, and deeply intelligent debut.”
Dan Josefson is a Master of Fine Arts graduate from UNLV’s Black Mountain Institute, who recently delivered the latest in a series of alumni readings.
