Restoring All Natural Gas In Henderson Might Take A While

It could take several days to restore natural gas to all of the 5,000 or so customers in Henderson who lost service Tuesday afternoon, Southwest Gas officials said.

Service was cut in the area of Old Vegas Trail and Wagon Wheel Drive after crews discovered a damaged 4-inch pipe during a routine check, a spokeswoman said.

Southwest Gas workers started going door-to-door about 7 this morning to turn the gas back on. Workers have to enter each home or business to restore service.  Updates are available at swgas.com.
