U.S. Congressional candidate Cresent Hardy is campaigning to represent District 4 in Nevada - an area that includes Mesquite - the Republican's hometown.
Endorsed by conservative organizations such as the National Right to Life, an anti-abortion lobbyist group, Hardy makes no bones about his stance on certain issues.
His campaign came under fire, however, after he was caught echoing Mitt Romney's sentiment that 47 percent of Americans don't pay their fair share.
Does that show that Hardy is out of touch with his would-be constituents? And how can he win in a district that leans Democratic?
