Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor Lucy Flores says it was education that saved her from a life of crime.
And she has promised to focus on schools if she wins the race. But, earlier this year, she said she wouldn't support The Education Initiative -- or Margins Tax -- that would pour hundreds of millions of dollars into the stat's education system.
