Donato Cabrera is coming home. The new music director for the Las Vegas Philharmonic grew up in Las Vegas and Reno, but traveled the world for his music.
He starts his first full season with the Philharmonic this weekend, with a concert that also features soprano Deborah Voigt. We talk with Cabrera about what he learned in Nevada, and what his plans are for the Philharmonic. And we'll also talk about the music on tap for this weekend's concert.
