Bellagio Thief Has Criminal Record In Kansas

The man facing charges in robbing the Bellagio last week has been identified after withholding his name from police, and it turns out he has almost 20 years of criminal history in Kansas.

Scott Carmitchel, 34, was arrested Saturday night after police say he robbed the Bellagio of about $43,500 Friday evening. Carmitchel will make an initial appearance today before a federal magistrate judge.
