LVH Exits The Strip

Changes to the Las Vegas Strip landscape are normal. And another change is taking place starting today. Yesterday, David Siegel's Westgate Resorts purchased the former LVH from Goldman Sachs. The final price is estimated between $150 and $170 million.

The hotel opened in 1969 as the International. The name changed to the Las Vegas Hilton in 1971. Westgate is a timeshare company and not a casino operator. Today (Tuesday) starting at 8:30 a.m. the LVH letters will be taken down and replaced with the Westgate Resorts logo.
