Nevada's Homeless Vets Get Some Help

Nevada homeless veterans are getting a helping hand from the federal government. Democratic Nevada Congresswoman Dina Titus announced Friday the allocation of $230,000 to the United States Veterans initiative site in Las Vegas called the Homeless Veteran's Reintegration Program.

The money will come from the U.S. Department of Labor. The Las Vegas initiative helps homeless vets back on their feet. Veterans account for about 12 percent of the adult homeless population.
