Republican Candidate Abandons Recount

Congressional candidate Niger Innis has conceded the race for the Republican primary and abandoned his bid for a recount. His campaign issued the statement Tuesday. Innis lost to state Assemblyman Cresent Hardy two weeks ago in the primary. Hardy received 43 percent of the vote in the 4th Congressional District race.

Innis took 33 percent and Mike Monroe earned 22 percent. Hardy now faces incumbent Democratic Representative Steven Horsford.
