Gaming Revenues Down Statewide

There are more visitors to Nevada but not all of those people are gambling as much. A report from the Gaming Control Board says casinos statewide gained $852 million in gaming revenue. But only the Las Vegas Strip saw gains in gambling revenues while the rest of the state, including downtown Las Vegas properties, reported declines.

Taxes collected on April revenues were up about 1.4 percent from April of 2013.
