Another professional group is raising legal questions surrounding the coming medical marijuana industry. The Board of Medical Examiners has asked the attorney general's office for an opinion ahead of its June meeting. The board wants to know the role doctors play in the new industry and whether or not doctors can invest in marijuana establishments. Nevada gambling regulators have declared all gaming officials are to avoid any involvement in medical marijuana. The Nevada State Bar Association was successful in changing rules governing attorney's involvement in consulting with those in the business.
