The Life Cube structure is a large-scale downtown project designed to serve as a canvas for participants dreams and visions. And then it gets burned to the ground.

Burning big stuff outside happens every year at Burning Man—the counter-culture festival on BLM land out on the Black Rock Desert. But burning a house-sized structure in downtown Las Vegas presents a different set of challenges.

How do you safely burn an art structure that’s surrounded by buildings and onlookers?
