Peter deAnda's play "Ladies in Waiting" throws a naive, idealistic (and white) young protestor into a prison population of hard-bitten and angry black women. Add in a tough Matron superintending the prison and you have a recipe for some dramatic confrontations. The play opens tonight at the Onyx Theatre and we talk to some cast members and the director ahead of the opening.
