CCSD has 100 teaching vacancies - most of them are for special education teachers. This is an ongoing issue for the district in southern Nevada and districts across the country. Officials from the National Coalition on Personnel Shortages in Special Education and Related Services say special ed teachers are the most likely to move or walk away from the job all together than any other educator.
