Broken Hearts: Sudden Cardiac Arrest In Young Athletes

Every year, nearly 2,000 young athletes in the U.S. suffer sudden cardiac arrest, and most of them die. Melanie Afromsky's son, Adam, collapsed during a soccer game in Las Vegas on Mothers' Day 2012. He survived his sudden cardiac arrest. Now Melanie Afrmonsky, athletic trainers and doctors are working to identify and treat the condition before it kills.
