When Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring" debuted in Paris in 1913, ballet goers were outraged by the performance - they booed and laughed so loud, the music was barely audible. Tonight at The Smith Center, four months shy of the ballet's 100 year anniversary, the famed Chicago-based Joffrey Ballet performs "The Rite of Spring." We'll talk with the artistic director of Joffrey Ballet and one of the company’s dancers about their performance.
