In the early 2000s, TIC's, or Tenant-In-Common agreements, appeared to be safe commercial real estate investments. It allows a group of people to pool their money with others and buy commercial property they might not otherwise be able to afford. But many who invested in these types of products stand to losetheir entire life savings.
