A downtown Las Vegas casino and hotel that's been around since 1941 is seeking to get recognized for its history. The El Cortez is applying to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We'll talk about the casino's history with Executive Vice President Alex Epstein, and Sara Fogelquist, an architectural historian and the National and State Register Coordinator for the Nevada State Historic Preservation Office.
